42 1994 chevy truck wiring diagram free

Hey everyone, my grandpa showed me his 94 Chevy Camaro 3.4L that has some wiring issues (rats ate the wires), and I’m trying to help him find the parts for it. He doesn’t know how to look for parts online so I’m trying to help him out, but I’m not sure what part exactly to be looking for. He tells me it’s “It's part of electric ignition system main plug branches off to 6 small electric connectors they are numbered 1 to 6” and it rests at the top of the engine between the intake and manifold. He... I have never owned a Chevy before but am looking at a 1994 K2500. It's got a bunch of mods but the thing that stands out to me from the ad is a "newer 5.7 crate" as the engine. What kind of questions would you ask about that? Appreciate any advice or thoughts on that era of the Silverado trucks in general.

Example: Like a diagram or something but simple enough where I can click “Audio” and under audio I can select say “speakers” and it shows the locations on the picture/model of selected vehicle. I wanna put work into my chevy, not sure how you guys just find where things are so easily lol.

In the last week or so, random problems that I believe to be electrical have popped up, including the failing of the Odometer and Speedometer. Yesterday, After driving around 30 miles or so, I parked for an hour and a half and it would not start again, instead I could hear what I believe is the flywheel clicking, but the engine would not crank. I tested the battery voltage last week and it seemed fine, and ran my OBD battery test which said the battery is good today. The only codes coming back ... I was wondering what I would have to replace in it. To get the steering correct. The under body looks good. It shifts fine and everything else is fine. It has the 5.7 in it also. Lost the bolt for the bracket piece that holds down the distributor. It has the 5.7 in it also. I recently got my truck running but the ignition switch doesn't work anymore, and theres some messed up wiring for oil pressure, turn signals and I'm assuming other stuff. Somehow it's isolated to the gauges and ignition system, fan and other lights work as normal. Truck I'm working with is legally a 1980 chevy k20, however it has bits and pieces from all over the time spectrum. The current electrical system mostly follows the original schematics. Regardless of the make, old vehicles use mechanical contact style switches for everything. I'd like to rewire the truck to make use of a modern style fuse and relay block. Im willing to start almost entirely from scratch to clean this up. What I'm looking for specifically is references. Most of what I have ... Update as of September 04 2020. SOLVED! After digging around the wiring system looking for issues I finally found it... there is a ground on the spare tire bracket under the bed. This ground has a ground wire from the trailer accessories harness and the ground for the rear tail light harnesss. So a total of two ground wires attached. Hello everybody. I am looking for a wiring diagram for the battery cables. I've recently changed out the battery in my truck going from a top post to side post battery. In the process of doing that I had to change out some wires. After everything was back together the truck still does not have power. Edit: the motor is a 5.7 350. I have checked the battery and it has a charge, and the starter is not the issue. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
