This also for r/dji and r/nikon and r/photography and r/videography TLDR: They work together, it just takes some effort, I am brand new to gimbals and I was able to make it work even with seemingly no information out there, so here's the information for you. Since the Z6ii and the Z7ii seem to be almost the same body, I would assume all of the below information will work for the Z6ii as well. I recently purchased a Nikon Z7ii and DJI RS2 to add to my kit for video and photo work....
How to draw a riser diagram is an oft-asked question. You may need to pull a permit and need one. The trouble is the inspector wants the drawing to be accurate. Great Video here showing how to vent plumbing.

[https://www.gpuminingresources.com/p/psu-cables.html](https://www.gpuminingresources.com/p/psu-cables.html) Hey guys, I'm a bit confused by this diagram, as it shows that 1 8Pin only provides 288W. Since the TDP of a 3060ti is 200w, and the riser takes 75w, is it safe to use 1 splitter to power the GPU and the Riser? Is the 288w divided in 2 evenly or does each end only pull what's being used, like since the card is 200w and riser is 75w then its only 275w? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7...

I'll get it out of the way, **haha Westmere EP, I'd throw it away**, et cetera. I got it for free. I was originally going to make it my fileserver/Plex server, and then I very much ran into the "wow, 8 bays fill up fast" problem and got a good deal on an IVB-E server in a Supermicro CSE-846 with the SAS2 backplane before I was even done setting everything up. I did a bit to the Thinkserver when I was planning on using it: * Tapped into...something with a proper crimped, not molded, splitter t...

Hi all. I just had two boilers replaced with Burnham Independence boilers. The old ones were 30 years old, presumably poorly maintained, so I wanted new ones for peace of mind. Now, I am seeing this happen: https://imgur.com/a/MqBtU9Q The link above contains two videos, and one image of the above-boiler piping, as well as the piping diagram. The water level starts out normal - about 3/4 of the way up the sight glass. After firing for 5-10 mins or so, the water level starts fluctuating up...
the way to the riser. And in this diagram, you can see that I've installed the first three, then skipped the main PCIe slot as I went as instructed to, and then put the rest of the 12 cables and connected them one by one nicely, and to make sure that they're in contact properly.
Seasoned Mechanical/Plumbing guy here. I'm wondering how the other high-level MEP users are handling their riser diagrams. At first, years ago, we drew them in AutoCAD and linked them in. That sucked for obvious reasons. The line weights needed to be set for each import. Random graphical glitches with the CAD text. The usual BS that makes experienced Revit users treat linked DWGs as a last resort. So then we started using 3D "isometric" views in our models. The piping and fittings were...
I'm already in contact with Asrock support, but after a few emails back and forth, they've gone dark for a few days. I’m trying to use [this](https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=X470D4U#Specifications) board with a Ryzen 1600AF CPU (Zen+ 12nm process; basically an underclocked 2600) with all three PCIE slots populated: video card in the PCIE6 top slot running @ PCIE 3.0 x 8, 10GB NIC in the middle PCIE5 slot running at PCIE 2.0 x4, and a dual M.2 riser card in the PCI...
As we all know, Jeremy's riser popped while jumping into Fallujah. Fine, I'll be the one to ask - what the hell does that mean? Here's a [diagram showing which part of a parachute the riser is](https://i.imgur.com/mQEM6NG.png), but what exactly happened if it "popped?" If it broke/tore off completely, it'd have left him plummeting at freefall speeds. To survive it would've had to happen fairly close to the ground. Is that it or does it mean something else? My other question regards his shorten...

I have a couple questions that I'd appreciate some input on. I'm in the US for reference. If possible, I'd really appreciate code references to back up answers. 1. When a new code edition is published when does that go into effect in an area? Is it when the county/city/state adopts the code? 2. Which code edition do you follow if there are different code editions adopted at county/city/state levels? 3. Let's say an area has adopted a new code edition but the fire alarm system being inspected wa...
I'm looking for help / input on setup my mining rig using Asrock H110 BTC+. I have 5x PowerColor 5600XT (3x 5600XT ITX and 2x 5600XT OC) connected on riser to 2x EVGA 1000W G5 PSU. I'm looking for input on what is the best way to connect the GPU to the MB with risers. The max TDP for 5600XT is 150W. See diagram below. Any help is appreciated. https://preview.redd.it/na1h3vcvglz61.png?width=1556&format=png&auto=webp&s=f232b7f98b647735d715eb8b3dcecda3c3e4c84b
Hey /r/plumbing. I'm an MEP engineer designing commercial and government/DoD plumbing systems. One of the things we typically develop in design is what we call a Waste & Vent Riser Diagram and a Domestic Water Riser Diagram. Sometimes we put them together in an [isometric diagram](https://imgur.com/a/xIWe5Tk), and sometimes they're in a [ladder diagram](https://imgur.com/a/xk7vfGU). I have a couple of questions for the folks who've installed these before: 1) Are these actually useful to y...
Circular Staircase Diagram This can be a very grand looking design and is great for taller ceilings. With computer design software, it’s easier to put together fancy and complex curved staircases for home so you do see this and winding staircases in far more homes today than 50 years ago.
I am wanting to understand exactly/specifically what physical connectors are assumed on the bot-provided link to the "Way to wire your Mining Rig" diagram. Most \~850W PSUs have 5 x 8-pin PCI-E/CPU "ports" and 5 x 6-pin peripheral "ports".Perfect example is the Corsair RMX 850: [https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy\_US/images/products/6229/6229601cv12d.jpg](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/6229/6229601cv12d.jpg) I am referring to these on the back of the P...

Hi there, electrical engineer from Germany here. Our country is quite backwards with regard to BIM, as it is not used even nowadays in most projects around the country. As most of my colleagues in the plumbing and air-duct planning sector already used 3D modeling and clash control before BIM, us electricians where more than satisfied with detailed 2D floor plans, riser and single line diagrams. So my question is this, for those of you that are entirely planning in Revit and such, what level o...

I'm new to mining; I got the bug in Jan, and im now sitting on 3 GPU’s. My PC is too small so the next step is to build a rig. I've read some of the wiki, but not quite finished yet. My question is, what's the best and safest way to power the rig. Is it riser straight to PSU, or am I missing something? I think the power set up should look like this. [Mining rig diagram](https://imgur.com/gallery/uqouoWM) - I know SATA and Molex are to be avoided. - I know 6-1 PSU to riser cables, and by m...

widely accepted relation between riser and tread riser height plus tread width equals 7.5 – inches. Most Building Codes also dictate that the maximum tread overhang is 1.25 inches, as shown in the diagram below. i. The rise of the stair is the vertical distance from the top of the tread to the top of the next tread.

I've crept this subreddit for a bit with no hard reason to join until today and I'm hoping you benevolent folks can help me crack this tricky little nut. Started my first rig a few months back with a 3090 and my old 1050ti, it has since paid itself off so I decided to double down on another 3090. After several weeks of trying every hour of every day, I was finally able to find a BNIB 3090 off a scalper. Problem is, I thought I'd be able to just swap the 1050ti with it, throw on a couple more 8p...
[all the possible “prizes”](https://imgur.com/a/kOeYTG5) So this is a fuckin weird one guys. I can’t figure out how to cut them the right way at...
I do a waste and vent riser diagram for every project other than very minor remodels. However, I seem to get conflicting direction from my superiors on when they think a water riser is necessary. In the past I've really only done them on projects over two stories, or if the AHJ specifically wants them. Just curious what everyone else is doing?
